Selling for the Cure: In Honor of Anne Lang


I am often asked why do I have the pink ribbon and "Selling for the Cure" on my marketing materials:

RE/MAX (a corporate sponsor) and myself are contributing money in support of the Susan G. Komen foundation with each transaction that I have. I have set a personal goal for the year and make a contribution to that goal in the name of my client and/or one for the person who so kindly referred me to help meet my goal.

This is a personal issue for me since the person I resemble most and never got to meet, my grandmother, battled the disease from a young age and ultimately took her from our family, changing it forever.

Using the logo and marketing material helps raise awareness for the cause, and contributions and research done on breast cancer benefits all types of cancers as they all learn and grow from eachother. It's a reflection of my want to marry my career of selling real estate with helping a cause...A cause that has touched or will touch most of our lives.

So, on a personal note, I truly appreciate anyone you refer since it helps me toward my goal! Thank you for supporting me AND the cause.
